PURE EAGLES

The word “PURE,” when used as an adjective alongside another word, typically means it represents the best or most perfect form of that word.

When you think of Pure Joy, Pure Water, Pure Love, or a Pure Athlete, there is no better version you can imagine. It is simply the highest, most complete form of itself.

At Ropes ISD, our goal is to build and mold PURE EAGLES. With input from a variety of stakeholders—including students, coaches, athletes, teachers, and board members—we established five core pillars that represent the traits of a PURE EAGLE: Family, P.R.I.D.E., Service, Integrity, and Accountability. By including voices from across our community, we aimed to foster strong buy-in and shared purpose.

All staff were given PURE EAGLE coins to distribute to students or colleagues they observed demonstrating the pillars or traits of a PURE EAGLE.

At Ropes ISD being a PURE EAGLE is simply being the best EAGLE you can be. 

What It Means to Be a PURE EAGLE

  • Building a strong sense of community and school pride.
  • Embodying resilience and determination in the face of challenges.
  • Our students, staff, and families take immense pride in carrying forward these values every day.
