National Honors Society
The Ropes Eagle Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) recognizes and fosters the qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, and character in its members. NHS promotes positive school involvement and leadership within the community. Eligible students—sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a 3.75 GPA or higher—undergo a rigorous evaluation process conducted by a faculty council to ensure they exemplify NHS standards.
Achievements:
- NHS members receive recognition through official insignia on diplomas, stoles at graduation, and the opportunity to list NHS membership on scholarship applications, celebrating their academic and personal accomplishments.
How to Join:
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled at Ropes High School for at least one semester.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher.
- Pass evaluation by a five-member faculty council based on service, leadership, and character.
