One-Act Play

The One-Act Play (OAP) program at Ropes ISD showcases the dramatic and creative talents of students, offering them opportunities to perform in competitive theatrical productions. Both the high school and junior high school OAPs are guided by experienced directors dedicated to fostering artistic excellence.

Activities and Events:

• High School OAP: Directed by Jay Sedberry, with Cathy Sawyer as Assistant Director, the high school students will present The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime.
• Junior High OAP: Directed by Cathy Sawyer, junior high students will perform James & The Giant Peach.

Achievements:
Ropes ISD’s OAP program has a strong tradition of excellence, with students consistently delivering standout performances in competitions and earning accolades for their dedication and talent.
